Manhattan, NY

The renovation of this historic synagogue included the installation of a new face of precast concrete panels hung from a steel ledge. The concrete "tablets" are inset with malachite strips engraved by a grave stone artisan with Hebrew text and fitted out with bronze copings, flashing and screens.
